Mr John Hansford , Headmaster of Northcote Lodge, a preparatory school for boys aged 8 – 13 in South West London, presented a cheque to the charity Crohn’s and Colitis UK at the schools Sports Day on Tuesday 1 July at Trinity Fields.
The money – a whopping £20,500 – was raised by the Northcote Lodge Parents Association.
The Northcote Lodge boys and their families got involved in several different events throughout the year from termly cake sales to mufti days and the summer fair. Parents were encouraged to take part in the Wine Challenge and enjoyed an Indian-themed summer party. The boys most enjoyed the Raleigh house sleepover when they camped out at school overnight! One boy raised money by skateboarding over all the bridges over the Thames.
